In 1968 Marianna Airmotive Corporation (MAC) opened its doors. Since its inception, MAC established a reputation for providing innovative solutions to complex repair challenges in the U.S. Aerospace Industry.
In 2015, Honeycomb Company of America (HCOA) acquired the facilities, assets and maintenance & repair capabilities of MAC and formed a new business unit; Honeycomb Aircraft Repair Center, LLC (HARC). HARC is housed in over 160,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and office space situated on a 36 acre campus just north of Pensacola, FL.
With the purchase of MAC, HARC acquired a rich 47-year history and will continue to be the premier provider for repair and remanufacture of C-5 Galaxy aircraft parts and assemblies, along with other aircraft MRO services. HARC has been performing C-5 airframe component repair and overhaul under Government Contracts since 1993. HARC has produced new C-5 Spoilers and new Wing Flap Trailing Edges since 2011. More importantly, HARC has retained the knowledge base, know-how and technical expertise to complete very complicated and in-depth repairs and remanufacture of bonded aerostructure components and assemblies.
Our sister company, Honeycomb Company of America, Inc. was founded in 1948 and is recognized as a leader in the manufacture of honeycomb core aviation structures to include flight critical, bonded, and composite assemblies for military and commercial fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
The HCOA manufacturing plant and corporate offices encompasses 150,000 square feet in 12 buildings on approximately twelve acres in sunny Sarasota, FL. Leveraging fully integrated design, production and quality assurance capabilities, HCOA is qualified to bond all types of honeycomb core, aluminum, fiberglass, and Kevlar laminates.
Joining the extraordinary capability and history of both HCOA and HARC, the Honeycomb family now provides unequaled repair and overhaul support to the U.S. military, OEMs and Tier 1 and 2 suppliers. Add to this expertise, certifications to ISO-9001:2008, AS9100C and NADCAP for Non-Destructive Testing, Chemical Processing, Heat Treating and Composites, and there is simply no other group more qualified or experienced to fulfill your new manufacture and repair requirements.
